I'm a UK writer of science fiction, fantasy and historical romance.
I live in the north of England with my family and I'm partial to chocolate and red wine.
A perfect day for me might include a stroll along the beach in the morning and the afternoon in the garden in the sunshine curled up with a good book. The evening would include good food, good company and wine.
I think I may well have been a cat in a previous life. Bookshops, libraries and theatres are my natural habitat.
As Cicero said: 'If you have a garden and a library you have everything you need'.
